Nicholas Pooran

Nicholas Pooran is a West Indian cricketer who plays as a left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. He was born on October 2, 1995, in Trinidad and Tobago.

Pooran made his international debut for the West Indies in 2016 in a T20I match against Pakistan. Since then, he has played 25 T20Is, 25 ODIs, and 6 Test matches for the West Indies. Pooran is known for his aggressive batting style and his ability to hit the ball hard and far. He is also a capable wicket-keeper and has taken some spectacular catches behind the stumps.

In his T20I career, Pooran has scored 487 runs at an average of 20.29 and a strike rate of 126.30. His highest score in T20Is is 58. In ODIs, he has scored 856 runs at an average of 27.67 and a strike rate of 101.66. His highest score in ODIs is 118. In Test cricket, he has scored 183 runs at an average of 22.87 with a high score of 59.

Pooran has also played in various T20 leagues around the world, including the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), and the Big Bash League (BBL). In the IPL, he has played for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) and scored 353 runs in 21 matches at a strike rate of 169.71. In the CPL, he has played for Barbados Tridents and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, and in the BBL, he has played for Melbourne Stars.
