Atharva Taide

Atharva Taide is an Indian cricketer who was born on November 10, 1998, in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. Taide made his debut for Vidarbha in 2018-19 and played a key role in helping them win their second consecutive Ranji Trophy title in the 2018-19 season.

In his debut season, Taide scored 419 runs in 10 innings, which included two centuries and two fifties, at an average of 52.37. He was the second-highest run-scorer for Vidarbha in the tournament. He continued his good form in the 2019-20 season, scoring 380 runs in 11 innings, which included a century and two fifties, at an average of 38.00.

Taide has not yet made his debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL), T20, ODI, or Test matches. However, he is considered to be a promising young talent and has been named in the India A squad for the tour of the West Indies in 2019.
