Bhanuka Rajapaksa

Bhanuka Rajapaksa is a Sri Lankan cricketer who was born on October 24, 1991, in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He is a left-handed batsman and a part-time right-arm medium-fast bowler. Rajapaksa made his international debut for Sri Lanka in November 2019 in a T20 match against Pakistan.

Rajapaksa has played domestic cricket for various teams in Sri Lanka such as Nondescripts Cricket Club, Colombo Cricket Club, and Chilaw Marians Cricket Club. He has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket, scoring over 4,000 runs across all formats at an average of over 35.

In his international career so far, Rajapaksa has played 12 T20 matches and 3 ODI matches for Sri Lanka. He has scored 165 runs in T20s at an average of 20.62 and a strike rate of 131.74. In ODIs, he has scored 81 runs at an average of 27.00 and a strike rate of 93.10.

Rajapaksa also played in the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Colombo Kings franchise. He played 6 matches in the tournament and scored 86 runs at an average of 14.33 and a strike rate of 146.15.
