Narayan Jagadeesan

Narayan Jagadeesan is an Indian cricketer who was born on December 24, 1995, in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He is a right-handed wicket-keeper batsman.

Jagadeesan made his first-class debut for Tamil Nadu in 2016 in the Ranji Trophy. He made his List A debut in the same year in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. He made his T20 debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2017-18 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

In the 2018-19 season, he was the leading run-scorer for Tamil Nadu in the Ranji Trophy, scoring 598 runs in 10 matches at an average of 42.71. In the 2020-21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, he was the leading run-scorer for Tamil Nadu, scoring 364 runs in 10 matches at an average of 52.00.

Jagadeesan was signed by the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the 2018 season. He made his IPL debut for CSK in 2020 and played in 5 matches, scoring 33 runs. He was retained by CSK for the 2021 season but did not get many opportunities to play.

Jagadeesan is considered a promising young cricketer and has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket. He will be looking to continue his good performances in domestic cricket and make a mark in the IPL.
