These five players were undoubtedly the standout performers of the 2009 IPL, but there were several other players who put up impressive performances as well. Jacques Kallis of Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 361 runs in 16 matches, while Lasith Malinga of Mumbai Indians picked up 18 wickets in 10 matches. Pragyan Ojha of Deccan Chargers and Anil Kumble of Royal Challengers Bangalore also had good seasons with the ball, picking up 18 and 21 wickets respectively.
