The Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the most popular and prestigious T20 cricket tournaments in the world. One such award is the Orange Cap, which is awarded to the leading run-scorer of the tournament.

IPL 2008: Shaun Marsh
The first edition of the IPL saw Shaun Marsh, the Australian left-handed opener, winning the Orange Cap. Playing for the Kings XI Punjab, Marsh scored 616 runs in 11 matches, including a highest score of 115 not out against the Rajasthan Royals.

IPL 2009: Matthew Hayden

IPL 2018: Kane Williamson
Kane Williamson, the New Zealand cricket captain, won the Orange Cap in the eleventh edition of the IPL. Playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Williamson scored 735 runs in 17 matches, including a highest score of 84 not out against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

IPL 2019: David Warner
David Warner won the Orange Cap for the third time in the twelfth edition of the IPL. Playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad once again, Warner scored 692 runs in 12 matches, including a highest score of 100 not out against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

IPL 2020: KL Rahul
