Abdul Samad

Abdul Samad is an Indian cricketer who plays as an all-rounder for the Hyderabad cricket team in domestic cricket and the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was born on October 28, 2001, in Jammu and Kashmir, India.

Samad made his debut in List A cricket for Jammu & Kashmir in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He made his Twenty20 debut for Jammu & Kashmir in the 2019–20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 9 November 2019. He was then bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2020 IPL and made his debut against Delhi Capitals in the same year. He played some crucial knocks in the tournament and impressed everyone with his big-hitting abilities. In the 2021 IPL, he continued to play for the Sunrisers Hyderabad but could not replicate his performances from the previous year.
