Ajinkya Rahane is an Indian cricketer who was born on 6 June 1988 in Mumbai, India. He is a right-handed batsman and an occasional right-arm off-break bowler.

Rahane made his international debut for India in a T20I against England in 2011, and he made his ODI debut later that same year. He is best known for his performances in Test cricket, where he has established himself as one of India’s most reliable and consistent batsmen.

Rahane has scored over 4500 runs in Test cricket, including 12 centuries and 22 half-centuries. He has also played in over 100 ODIs for India, scoring more than 3000 runs with 3 centuries and 24 half-centuries. In T20Is, he has scored over 400 runs in 20 matches.
