Dinesh Karthik is a former Indian cricketer who was born on June 1, 1985, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He was a wicket-keeper batsman who played for the Indian cricket team in all three formats of the game. He made his international debut for India in 2004 and went on to represent the country in 26 Tests, 94 ODIs, and 32 T20Is before retiring from international cricket in 2019.
