Harshal Patel is an Indian cricketer who was born on November 23, 1990, in Sanand, Gujarat, India. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who plays for the Haryana cricket team in domestic cricket and Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Achievements:

• Harshal Patel made his IPL debut for the Mumbai Indians in 2012 but didn’t get many opportunities to play.
• He was then picked up by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2018 and played a few games in the season.
• However, it was in the 2021 IPL season that he made a huge impact. He was traded to RCB ahead of the season and was given the responsibility of leading the bowling attack.
• In the first match of the season, he took a stunning five-wicket haul against Mumbai Indians and was named the Player of the Match.
• He went on to finish the season as the highest wicket-taker, with 32 wickets in 15 matches, and was awarded the Purple Cap for his performance.
