Matthew Wade is an Australian cricketer who was born on December 26, 1987, in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. He is a left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper who made his international debut for Australia in 2011.

Matthew Wade has played in all three formats of the game, but he is primarily known for his performances in T20s and ODIs. He has scored more than 2,000 runs in both formats of the game with an average of over 30 in both.
