Quinton De Kock

Quinton de Kock is a South African cricketer who was born on December 17, 1992. He is a left-handed wicket-keeper batsman who has played for South Africa in all three formats of the game – Test, ODI, and T20I.

De Kock made his international debut in 2012 and has since become a regular member of the South African team. He has scored over 10,000 runs across all formats of the game and has taken over 500 dismissals as a wicketkeeper.

Some of his notable achievements include scoring the fastest century by a South African in ODIs (in 74 balls), being named the ICC ODI Player of the Year in 2017, and being appointed as the captain of South Africa’s T20I team in 2021.

In the Indian Premier League, de Kock has played for Mumbai Indians since 2019 and has been a key player for them. He has scored over 1,000 runs in the tournament and has also taken several catches and stumpings behind the wicket.
