Rashid Khan

Rashid Khan is an Afghan cricketer who is a right-arm leg spinner and a right-handed batsman. He is considered one of the best spinners in the world and has played in all three formats of international cricket for Afghanistan.

Rashid Khan’s international career started in 2015 when he made his debut in a T20I match against Zimbabwe. He quickly rose to prominence due to his excellent bowling skills and was named the ICC Associate Cricketer of the Year in 2016 and 2017.

In ODIs, Rashid has taken 140 wickets in 77 matches at an average of 18.25 and an economy rate of 4.12. In T20Is, he has taken 95 wickets in 51 matches at an average of 12.62 and an economy rate of 6.11. Rashid has also played four Test matches and has taken 34 wickets at an average of 17.79.

In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rashid has been a key player for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team since 2017. He has played 69 matches for SRH and has taken 85 wickets at an average of 20.33 and an economy rate of 6.24. Rashid was also named the player of the match in the IPL final in 2016 and 2018.

Overall, Rashid Khan is considered one of the best spinners in the world and has been a crucial player for Afghanistan in international cricket as well as for the SRH team in the IPL.
