Vijay Shankar is an Indian cricketer who plays as an all-rounder for Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was born on January 26, 1991, in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India.
Shankar made his debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2012-13 season and has been a regular member of the team ever since. He made his debut for the Indian team in March 2018 in a T20I match against Sri Lanka.
